On 13 February 2025, at 12.30 p.m., the Turim Av. Liberdade Hotel in Lisbon will host a special event to celebrate World Radio Day. The initiative, promoted by the Grand Office of Art and Culture, is part of the Encontros da Liberdade series and will feature a lunch followed by a debate in podcast format.
The session will be moderated by the distinguished broadcasters Fernando Correia and José Gabriel Quaresma, with two special guests: Júlio Isidro and Teresa Oliveira, essential names in Portuguese broadcasting and radio.
The event aims to be a moment of reflection on the role of radio today, its evolution and the impact it continues to have on society, especially in an increasingly digital world.
Those interested in taking part may obtain further information and make reservations on (+351) 961 640 001 or by e-mail at arteecultura.grandeoficio@gmail.com.
The gathering is supported by MUSIC PORT and MICROSEGUR, underlining the importance of radio as a medium essential to culture and to freedom of expression.
