Lodge Fernão de Magalhães no. 1, in the Orient of the Philippines, under the Jurisdiction of the Sovereign Grand Lodge of Portugal and working in the Portuguese Rite, has just carried out an extraordinary act of solidarity, focused on fundamental areas such as health, well-being, food, family planning and legal services for the most deprived populations of the Manila region.
This is, without doubt, a clear example of Freemasonry in motion — of love shared and light illuminating the darkness. A reflection of Soberana’s DNA, bearing fruit that touches lives and transforms realities. A noble gesture, worthy of our ideals.
Congratulations to our Filipino Brethren, and in particular to the Most Serene Grand Master Adelberto Pasibigan, for the wisdom and leadership with which they carry out this work of Fraternity. May this example of solidarity and commitment to others go on shining as a true flame of Light in the heart of Freemasonry.
