The Sovereign Grand Lodge of Portugal, recognising the importance of solidarity as one of the fundamental pillars of Freemasonry, joined the Grand Lodge of Rio Grande do Sul to support the victims of the recent humanitarian disaster caused by flooding in that region of Brazil. In times of crisis, Masonic fraternity reinforces its values of mutual aid, compassion and commitment to the well-being of others.
The joint action between the two Grand Lodges was not merely a gesture of aid but also a demonstration that, beyond geographical borders, Freemasonry remains united by a spirit of solidarity that transcends any difference.
