The Bento Espinoza Research Lodge and the Grand Office of Art and Culture are pleased to invite all Brethren and friends to a unique cultural event celebrating the life, work and legacy of Luís de Camões. The gathering takes place on 24 January 2025, at 6.30 p.m., at Templo Portugal, Rua António Pedro nº8, 1150-045 – Lisbon, Portugal.
On the theme “Camões – Poet and Freedom”, the event will explore topics such as Camonian lyric poetry, love, the sense of decline, saudade, Romanian esotericism and the messages Camões bequeathed to us for the twenty-first century.
The programme features the special participation of:
• Fernando Correia, presenting and performing the poetry.
• Fernando Casqueira e Paulo Toste, leading the thematic reflection.
• António Torrado, José Silveira e Vasco Lima, responsible for sound, image, video and editing.
