Farol Invisível: a historic milestone in Portuguese Freemasonry

11.11.25 — The Day of the Portal. A historic day for Portuguese Freemasonry.

In a time of extremism, disinformation and loss of meaning, in which many forget the true significance of Portugal, the New Portuguese Freemasonry reaffirms its mission: to fulfil Portugal, serving the Light, the Truth and the Common Good.

On this memorable day, Farol Invisível (the Invisible Lighthouse) was officially presented, a milestone in the recent history of Portuguese Freemasonry. The project will bring Light to others through concrete action: a permanent community support centre, built with the most precious gift a Mason can offer — his Time.
An initiative without precedent in Portugal, under the seal of the High Degrees of the Portuguese Rite and of the Sovereign Grand Lodge of Portugal.

Farol Invisível is born with the mission of turning the Light received in the Temple into active service to society, providing free support in essential areas such as rights and citizenship, accounting, digital inclusion, medical and social care, education, coaching and employment support.
Sustained entirely by Masonic volunteering, the project is guided by a Scientific Council, which ensures the transparency, ethics and fairness of the services provided.

More than a gesture of solidarity, Farol Invisível is the living expression of a Freemasonry that serves, uniting Light, Knowledge and Action to inspire a future that is fairer, more humane and more conscious.
