At a time when the weight of daily life is becoming ever harder to bear — with the food basket rising by €16.69 in the first four months of 2026 alone — solidarity ceases to be merely a value and becomes an urgency.
It was in this spirit that Farol Invisível (the Invisible Lighthouse), this time led by our dear Brother Ângelo Silva, went back into the field to support those most in need. At Gare do Oriente, essential goods were handed out to families facing silent but deeply real challenges.
Every gesture, every delivery, was more than material aid — it was a sign of presence, of care and of fraternity.
Because, even in the hardest hours, we stand firm in our mission: to bring dignity, hope and concrete support to those who need it most.
May we never lack the courage to be light — for it is in unity and in solidarity that the true meaning of serving the community is revealed.
