Today marks 229 years on the death of Ensign Jose Joaquim da Silva Xavier, the Tiradentes. <\/span><\/p>\n

Tiradentes and the symbol of the movement of Inconfid\u00eancia Mineira, a revolutionary movement of supposedly Masonic inspiration and <\/span>whose guiding principles of “Liberty, Equality and Fraternity” <\/span>intended to guide the implementation of a Constitutionalist Republic in the present state of Minas Gerais. <\/span> <\/p>\n

It is a coincidence that due to its high Masonic value it is important to highlight and disseminate, which is why the Grand Master of the Grand Sovereign Lodge of Portugal here pays tribute to these two Heroes and to all the brother people of Brazil, pointing out the importance that our Portuguese Rite attributes to these unique figures of the History of Brazil, portugal and the entire Luso-Brazilian Community spread throughout the four matches of the world. <\/span><\/p>\n
